About Cheryl Mauer

Cheryl Mauer was born in The Hague the city were the parliament of the Netherlands is situated and raised in the neighboring town Rijswijk. She has always been engaged in entertainment since an early age. She began to play the piano, drums and performed in a musical class when she was eight years old. Every year she performed in various local shows. At the age of seventeen Cheryl was scouted when she cycled home from high school. Since then the adventure began in doing modelling. Mauer worked as a model for brands such as 'MAYBELLINE', 'SLOGGI', 'NELSON', 'NCOI', 'FHM', 'NOË SHOES', and more.

After high school Cheryl begins her college studies 'Media Entertainment Management', where the modelling work continued alongside her studies. She was introduced to the television world when she performed as show-assistant of the candidates in various National TV programs like 'Really True!?', (RTL4), 'I bet I can' (RTL4), 'Gerts Mission' (RTL XL), 'Hollands Best Fashion Designer' (RTL5) and the 'Big Saturday Night Show' (SBS 6). Internships behind the scenes in the tv production and editing in various national and regional TV broadcasters followed soon. In addition, she began to focus on presenting. In 2013 she won the 'Presentation Talent' TV Show for WOS TV and she was allowed to present at the broadcaster WOS TV and in different online TV Channels programs. 

In 2014 she graduated from the college education 'Media Entertainment Management' specialised in TV & Film Management (Bachelor's degree). A week after her graduation she could straight to Formula 1 in Abu Dhabi to do the PR and VIP Guidance of various festivites surrounding this big event. Soon Cheryl began to do more international work in front and behind the scenes. Mauer travelled in 2015 as a delegate from the Netherlands to South Korea, as Miss Netherlands to participate in an international beauty pageant. She was close by the top 20 and allowed to make an exceptional visit in North Korea.

Cheryl Mauer is an international model, presenter, TV shows and filmmaker. Creating beautiful products for other people drives her and is her passion. She loves to travel and to get surprised and enriched by different kind of cultures.
